An opportunity is available for a Special Education Teacher to support K-12 students with diverse special education needs. This contract position is for the current school year and involves working within public school settings located in the Hartford, CT area, with potential assignments at Cromwell or Manchester locations.

Responsibilities: Deliver specialized instruction tailored to students with varied special education requirements. Collaborate with school staff to develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs). Monitor student progress and adapt strategies to meet individual learning goals. Maintain documentation and communication with families and educational teams. Participate in evaluations to determine appropriate caseload placement based on candidate experience. Qualifications: Valid certification in Special Education. Experience working with K-12 students across multiple special education needs is preferred. Strong understanding of IEP development and implementation. Ability to work effectively in diverse school environments. Flexibility to be evaluated for the best caseload fit before assignment.
