A K-12 Special Education teaching opportunity is available for the current school year, offering a contract position designed to support diverse learners. This role focuses on addressing multiple special education needs, providing tailored instruction to students requiring various levels of support.

Location Options: The position may be based at locations in either Cromwell or Manchester, allowing for flexibility depending on candidate placement and student needs. Key Responsibilities: Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for students with a wide range of special education requirements. Collaborate with general education teachers, support staff, and families to create inclusive learning environments that promote student growth and success. Assess student progress regularly and adjust instructional strategies to meet evolving educational goals. Manage caseload responsibilities effectively, ensuring compliance with all regulatory and program standards. Participate in team meetings, professional development, and other activities aimed at enhancing instructional quality and student support. Qualifications and Experience: Valid state certification in Special Education, covering K-12. Experience working with students presenting multiple and diverse special education needs. Ability to evaluate and adapt caseload placement based on demonstrated skills and experience. Strong communication and organizational skills, with a collaborative mindset. Commitment to fostering an inclusive educational setting that supports all learners. This contract opportunity allows for close evaluation of each candidates experience to determine the most appropriate caseload fit, ensuring a rewarding and effective placement.
