Key Responsibilities: Deliver specialized instruction tailored to the unique needs of students who are deaf or hard of hearing across grades K-12. Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams. Utilize appropriate communication methods, including sign language, to facilitate effective learning and engagement. Monitor student progress and adjust instructional strategies to promote academic achievement and social development. Partner with families, therapists, and other educators to foster a supportive and inclusive learning environment. Qualifications and Experience: Certification or licensure as a Teacher of the Deaf/Hard of Hearing. Proven experience working with K-12 students in educational settings focused on hearing impairments. Strong knowledge of auditory and visual communication techniques, assistive technologies, and relevant educational standards. Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills. Commitment to creating accessible and enriching learning experiences. Location: Position based in Denver, Colorado, within a K-12 school setting.
