This full-time remote role involves working 35-37.5 hours per week serving a caseload of 42-58 students from kindergarten through high school. You'll deliver psychological evaluations, therapeutic interventions, and behavioral support services through secure virtual platforms while collaborating with educational teams to address complex student needs. Our school psychologists are essential team members in creating supportive learning environments that promote both academic achievement and emotional wellbeing. Core Professional Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive psychoeducational evaluations for special education eligibility and programming decisions Provide individual and group counseling services addressing anxiety, depression, behavioral concerns, and trauma Develop and implement positive behavioral intervention plans and social-emotional learning strategies Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team consultations to support student success Conduct crisis intervention services and safety assessments for students experiencing mental health emergencies Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to address academic and behavioral concerns Provide consultation services to educational staff regarding student mental health and classroom management Student Support Services Learning disability assessments and cognitive ability evaluations Autism spectrum disorder comprehensive assessments and programming support ADHD evaluations and attention-related concern interventions Emotional and behavioral disorder assessments and treatment planning Social skills development and peer relationship building programs Academic motivation enhancement and school engagement strategies Transition planning support for students moving between educational levels Required Qualifications Master's degree in School Psychology or Educational Psychology from accredited program Active Ohio school psychologist license or eligibility for state certification Minimum 2 years of experience providing psychological services in school settings Proficiency with virtual assessment protocols and teletherapy best practices Strong understanding of federal and state special education laws and IEP processes Excellent written and verbal communication skills for remote service delivery Preferred Qualifications Educational Specialist (Ed.S.) or Doctoral degree in School Psychology Training in trauma-informed care and adverse childhood experiences intervention Experience with diverse populations and multicultural assessment practices Knowledge of evidence-based therapeutic interventions for children and adolescents Bilingual capabilities to serve multicultural student and family populations Technology Requirements High-definition webcam and professional lighting for virtual sessions and assessments HIPAA-compliant video conferencing capabilities with secure data transmission Reliable high-speed internet connection with backup connectivity options Quiet, private workspace suitable for confidential psychological services Current computer system with updated assessment software and clinical documentation tools If interested, apply here or contact: Daniela Jimenez 470-516-6256 Remote working/work at home options are available for this role.
