Work 35-37.5 hours weekly serving approximately 40-56 students across K-12 grade levels through secure virtual platforms. You'll provide direct psychological services, conduct comprehensive evaluations, and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to address student mental health concerns and learning challenges. Our school psychologists are integral contributors to creating inclusive educational environments that support both academic achievement and emotional development. Primary Service Responsibilities Administer psychological and educational assessments using research-validated virtual protocols Provide evidence-based individual counseling addressing student emotional, behavioral, and adjustment concerns Facilitate therapeutic groups focusing on social skills, emotional regulation, and peer relationship development Develop comprehensive behavioral intervention plans and monitor implementation effectiveness across settings Participate in IEP development processes and multidisciplinary team meetings for special education programming Conduct mental health screenings and comprehensive risk assessments for student safety planning Deliver professional development and consultation services to educational staff on mental health topics Clinical Service Areas Anxiety and mood disorder assessment and intervention for children and adolescents Behavioral challenges and classroom disruption management through positive behavioral supports Social skills development and peer relationship building for students with social difficulties Academic motivation enhancement and school engagement strategies for underperforming students Family systems intervention and parent support services for complex home-school issues Grief and loss counseling for students experiencing trauma and significant life changes Transition support services for students changing schools, grade levels, or educational placements Mandatory Qualifications Master's degree in School Psychology or closely related field with appropriate training Valid New Mexico school psychologist license or eligibility for state certification Minimum 2 years of direct experience providing psychological services in educational environments Proficiency with virtual assessment tools and remote therapeutic service delivery methods Strong clinical assessment and intervention skills in child and adolescent mental health Excellent documentation and report writing abilities for educational and clinical purposes Preferred Professional Experience Specialist (Ed.S.) or Doctoral degree in School Psychology from accredited program Training in culturally responsive assessment and intervention practices for diverse populations Experience with students who have experienced trauma, adverse childhood experiences, or family disruption Knowledge of substance abuse prevention and intervention strategies for school-aged populations Bilingual capabilities in Spanish to serve diverse student and family communities Home Office Requirements Secure, private workspace meeting confidentiality standards for psychological practice High-quality video conferencing equipment with professional lighting for clear communication HIPAA-compliant internet connection and comprehensive data security protocols Updated computer system with current psychological assessment and intervention software Professional appearance and environment appropriate for virtual client and family interactions If interested, apply here or contact: Daniela Jimenez 470-516-6256 Remote working/work at home options are available for this role.
