General Purpose
The Retail Associate is responsible for ensuring our Customers have a positive shopping experience. The Associate greets Customers, follows company standards, maintains a clean work area, ensures proper merchandise presentation, and performs a range of functions across store areas as needed to support customer service and store operations.

Responsibilities

• Greet Customers and provide courteous, friendly service; maintain eye contact and a welcoming demeanor throughout the store.
• Assist Customers with merchandise, answer questions, and process transactions as trained; respond promptly to Customer service needs and escalate to Store Leadership when required.
• Maintain a safe shopping environment by staying aware on the sales floor, keeping exits clear, reporting unsafe conditions, and following Loss Prevention guidelines.
• Perform cleaning tasks and maintain a neat, organized store according to company standards; assist with daily sizing, recovery, and replenishment to meet presentation guidelines.
• Expedite newly received merchandise to the sales floor, merchandise items per guidelines, and maintain brand name familiarity within departments.
• Demonstrate integrity and safeguard confidential information and assets; follow MOS policies and cash handling procedures.
• Adhere to dress code and professional appearance requirements.
• Operate store equipment as needed and be prepared to work in various store areas as business needs require.

Qualifications And Special Skills

• Effective communication with Customers, Associates, and Store Leadership in a friendly, respectful manner.
• Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations commonly used in retail environments.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to spend up to 100% of working time standing, walking, and moving around the store; frequently bend, squat, kneel, and reach; lift up to 25 pounds (20 pounds for Stockroom shifts).
• Ability to use store equipment, including PDTs and registers; may require climbing ladders and other duties as assigned.
