Provide psychological services 35-37.5 hours per week to a caseload of 48-56 students across K-12 grade levels in virtual educational environments. You'll conduct assessments, deliver therapeutic interventions, and work closely with educational teams to address student barriers to learning and promote overall wellbeing. Our school psychologists are integral to ensuring students receive appropriate mental health support and educational accommodations. Direct Service Responsibilities Complete comprehensive psychological evaluations for special education determination and programming Deliver evidence-based individual and group counseling interventions through secure video platforms Implement behavioral assessment and intervention strategies for students with challenging behaviors Provide crisis intervention services and develop safety plans for at-risk students Collaborate with families to address home-school mental health and behavioral concerns Support teachers and staff through consultation regarding student psychological and behavioral needs Maintain detailed clinical documentation and comply with all ethical and legal standards Therapeutic Intervention Areas Depression and anxiety management for children and adolescents Attention and executive functioning skill development Social communication and interpersonal relationship building Emotional regulation and coping strategy instruction Academic self-efficacy and motivation enhancement Bullying prevention and peer conflict resolution Self-harm prevention and suicide risk assessment and intervention Required Credentials Master's degree in School Psychology, Clinical Psychology, or Educational Psychology Current Michigan school psychologist license or ability to obtain state certification 2+ years of professional experience providing psychological services in school environments Competence in virtual service delivery and understanding of teletherapy ethical considerations Strong knowledge of child development, learning disabilities, and mental health disorders Excellent interpersonal skills for building therapeutic relationships in virtual settings Desired Additional Qualifications Ed.S. or Ph.D. in School Psychology from NASP-approved program Experience with culturally responsive assessment and intervention practices Training in mindfulness-based interventions and stress reduction techniques Knowledge of restorative justice practices and positive school climate initiatives Experience working with LGBTQ+ students and supporting inclusive school environments Virtual Practice Setup Professional home office with appropriate confidentiality measures High-definition camera and audio equipment for clear therapeutic communication HIPAA-compliant technology infrastructure and secure data storage Reliable high-speed internet with consistent connectivity for real-time services Current licenses for psychological assessment software and virtual intervention platforms If interested, apply here or contact: Daniela Jimenez 470-516-6256
