We're looking for an experienced School Psychologist to provide comprehensive psychological services for students in virtual learning environments across multiple grade levels. This remote position offers the flexibility of home-based work while maintaining meaningful therapeutic relationships and supporting student mental health and educational success.

Serve 44-52 students through virtual platforms, working 35-37.5 hours weekly to deliver psychological assessments, counseling services, and behavioral interventions. You'll collaborate with educational teams, families, and community resources to address complex student needs and promote positive mental health outcomes. Our school psychologists are essential advocates for student wellbeing and academic achievement. Clinical Service Delivery Conduct psychological evaluations using research-validated virtual assessment methods Provide individual psychotherapy addressing trauma, anxiety, depression, and behavioral disorders Facilitate therapeutic groups focusing on social skills, emotional regulation, and peer support Implement positive behavioral interventions and supports (PBIS) and restorative practices Conduct functional behavior assessments and develop behavior intervention plans Provide mental health crisis intervention and coordinate with external mental health providers Deliver professional development training to educational staff on mental health topics Student Population Served Elementary students with emerging social-emotional concerns and behavioral challenges Middle school students navigating adolescent development and peer relationships High school students preparing for post-secondary transitions and experiencing academic stress Students with disabilities requiring specialized mental health support and accommodations Students experiencing trauma, grief, and family system disruptions Students at risk for school dropout and academic failure Students requiring intensive behavioral supports and alternative programming Essential Qualifications Master's degree in School Psychology with appropriate practicum and internship experience Active Michigan school psychologist certification or eligibility for state licensure Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience providing psychological services in school settings Demonstrated competency in virtual assessment administration and interpretation Strong clinical skills in child and adolescent therapy and behavioral intervention Excellent written communication skills for psychological reports and treatment planning Preferred Professional Background Specialist (Ed.S.) or Doctoral degree in School Psychology Experience with multi-tiered systems of support and response to intervention models Training in family therapy and systems-based intervention approaches Knowledge of psychopharmacology and coordination with medical providers Experience providing supervision and mentoring to psychology interns and trainees Technology and Workspace Requirements Secure, private home office meeting professional standards for psychological practice High-quality video conferencing setup with professional lighting and audio equipment HIPAA-compliant internet service with appropriate security measures and backup systems Current computer technology with updated assessment software and clinical documentation systems Professional demeanor and appearance appropriate for virtual client and family interactions If interested, apply here or contact: Daniela Jimenez 470-516-6256 Remote working/work at home options are available for this role.
