Schedule / Expected Work Hours:

Job Summary:
The Restaurant Manager oversees the dining room operations, ensures exceptional guest experiences, and maintains high service standards. Responsibilities include leading the team, managing reservations, coordinating seating, handling guest inquiries, collaborating with kitchen staff, monitoring inventory, and managing costs. The ideal candidate is dynamic, professional, with strong leadership skills and a passion for hospitality.
Essential Job Functions:
- Oversee daily restaurant operations, including food prep, guest relations, and service standards.
- Manage cash handling, safe management, and tip reconciliation.
- Participate in weekly inventory counts and control food and beverage costs.
- Edit timekeeping records as needed.
- Forecast product needs using inventory data.
- Process invoices and communicate with vendors.
- Prepare and approve staff schedules, troubleshoot inventory variances, and submit schedules for GM approval.
Quality Assurance:
- Ensure food and beverage quality meets specifications.
- Maintain compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Inspect dishes for quality and presentation before serving.
Daily Operations:
- Manage all areas of the restaurant during business hours, including engaging with guests and overseeing staff.
- Recognize and coach team members, handle guest issues, lead pre-shift meetings, and make staffing decisions.
- Oversee training, assign duties, and manage breaks and disciplinary actions.
Management Responsibilities:
- Conduct interviews, set team goals, participate in meetings and training sessions.
Qualifications:
- At least 21 years old.
- Minimum 2 years of management experience.
- Proven employment stability.
- College degree in business, hospitality, or related field preferred.
Physical Requirements:
Ability to stand for long periods, lift up to 40 lbs., reach up to 6 feet, and work in confined spaces.
