Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Hygienist to join our dynamic dental team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care, performing dental cleanings, and assisting in various clinical procedures. This role is essential in ensuring the overall health and well-being of our patients while promoting excellent oral hygiene practices.
Duties
- Conduct thorough dental cleanings and examinations for patients of all ages, including pediatrics.
- Assist the dentist during procedures by preparing instruments and materials as needed.
- Utilize medical imaging techniques to capture accurate diagnostic dental x-rays.
- Maintain strict infection control protocols to ensure a safe environment for patients and staff.
- Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and the importance of regular dental visits.
- Document patient care accurately in accordance with HIPAA regulations and maintain confidentiality.
- Utilize Dental software for patient record management, scheduling, and billing processes.
- Apply knowledge of dental terminology to communicate effectively with both patients and team members.
- Assist with dental charting for insurance purposes as required.
Skills
- Proficient in infection control practices and adherence to safety protocols.
- Strong understanding of dental terminology and procedures.
- Experience with Dentrix or similar dental practice management software is preferred.
- Excellent patient care skills with a compassionate approach to treatment.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while also being self-motivated.
- Familiarity with medical imaging techniques is required.
- Knowledge of HIPAA regulations to ensure patient confidentiality is maintained at all times.
Must be a Licensed Dental Hygienist in North Dakota
Must live in/near Grand Forks, North Dakota

- Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
- Pay: $60,000.00 - $72,000.00 per year
- Expected hours: 20 – 40 per week
- Schedule: 8 hour shift
- License/Certification: Registered Dental Hygienist (Required)
