Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Hygienist to join our dynamic dental team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care, performing dental cleanings, and assisting in various clinical procedures. This role is essential in ensuring the overall health and well-being of our patients while promoting excellent oral hygiene practices.

Duties

• Conduct thorough dental cleanings and examinations for patients of all ages, including pediatrics.
• Assist the dentist during procedures by preparing instruments and materials as needed.
• Utilize medical imaging techniques to capture accurate diagnostic dental x-rays.
• Maintain strict infection control protocols to ensure a safe environment for patients and staff.
• Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and the importance of regular dental visits.
• Document patient care accurately in accordance with HIPAA regulations and maintain confidentiality.
• Utilize Dental software for patient record management, scheduling, and billing processes.
• Apply knowledge of dental terminology to communicate effectively with both patients and team members.
• Assist with dental charting for insurance purposes as required.

Skills

• Proficient in infection control practices and adherence to safety protocols.
• Strong understanding of dental terminology and procedures.
• Experience with Dentrix or similar dental practice management software is preferred.
• Excellent patient care skills with a compassionate approach to treatment.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while also being self-motivated.
• Familiarity with medical imaging techniques is required.
• Knowledge of HIPAA regulations to ensure patient confidentiality is maintained at all times.

Must be a Licensed Dental Hygienist in North Dakota

Must live in/near Grand Forks, North Dakota

• Pay: $60,000.00 - $72,000.00 per year
• Expected hours: 20 – 40 per week
• Schedule: 8 hour shift
