Kroger Mountain View Foods is hiring: Online Grocery Pick-Up Clerk in Pahrump

Select and gather products for customers' online orders efficiently, ensuring freshness and quality. Assemble orders, process coupons and payments, and deliver/load orders when customers pick up. Provide a positive customer service experience that encourages repeat online shopping. Demonstrate respect, honesty, integrity, diversity, inclusion, and safety.

Responsibilities

Essential Job Functions:

• Responsible for selecting and gathering products for online orders with attention to freshness and quality.
• Initiate and complete the selection process for online orders.
• Assemble orders, process payments, and deliver/load orders at customer pickup.
• Scan and bag orders following standards.
• Communicate substitutions or exceptions to customers at pickup.
• Meet/exceed expectations for ease of shopping, variety, freshness, and cleanliness.
• Follow all safety, legal, and company guidelines.
• Store products in optimal conditions, ensuring quality and freshness.
• Follow instructions and respond professionally to customer calls.
• Ensure order accuracy and load orders into customers' cars.
• Provide excellent customer service to encourage repeat business.
• Process orders via POS system and handle out-of-stock substitutions appropriately.
• Maintain organization and cleanliness of staging areas and equipment.
• Report discrepancies and equipment issues to management.
• Perform opening and closing procedures.
• Assist in training new team members.
• Meet productivity standards and work cooperatively in a high-paced environment.
• Manage conflicts professionally and act with integrity.
• Support interactions with minors, individuals with special needs, and older adults.
• Perform essential functions with or without reasonable accommodations.

Qualifications

Minimum Position Qualifications:

• Ability to work independently.
• Ability to read shelf tags.
• Basic math skills.

Desired Previous Experience:

• Experience as a personal shopper, warehouse worker, stocker, or cashier.
