Kroger Mountain View Foods is hiring: Online Grocery Pick-Up Clerk in Rock Sprin

Select and gather products for customers' online orders efficiently, ensuring freshness and quality. Assemble orders, process coupons and payments, and load orders into customers' cars during pickup. Responsibilities

Essential Job Functions:

1. Responsible for selecting and gathering products for online orders with attention to freshness and quality.
2. Initiate and complete the selection process for online orders.
3. Assemble orders, process coupons and payments, and deliver/load orders into customers' cars during pickup.
4. Scan and bag orders following bagging standards.
5. Communicate substitutions or exceptions to customers at pickup.
6. Meet or exceed customer expectations for ease of shopping, variety, freshness, and cleanliness.
7. Adhere to all relevant laws, food safety procedures, and company guidelines.
8. Store products in optimal temperature zones as per guidelines.
9. Follow notes and instructions for order accuracy.
10. Ensure quality and freshness of all items.
11. Communicate professionally with customers via portable phone.
12. Retrieve and load orders into customers' cars, ensuring accuracy.
13. Provide excellent customer service to encourage repeat business.
14. Process orders through the POS system.
15. Handle out-of-stock substitutions appropriately.
16. Maintain organization and cleanliness of staging areas and equipment.
17. Report discrepancies and equipment issues to management.
18. Perform opening and closing procedures.
19. Assist in training new team members.
20. Meet or exceed productivity standards.
21. Work cooperatively in a fast-paced, sometimes stressful environment.
22. Manage conflicts calmly and cooperatively.
23. Act with honesty and integrity regarding customer and business information.
24. Follow directions and seek assistance when needed.
25. Support interactions with minors, individuals with special needs, and older adults.
26. Perform essential job functions with or without reasonable accommodations.

Qualifications

Minimum Position Qualifications:

• Ability to work independently without supervision.
• Ability to read shelf tags.
• Basic math skills (counting, addition, subtraction).

Desired Previous Experience:

• Experience as a personal shopper, in warehouse, stocking, or cashier roles.
