Auburn, Maine

is seeking a

Quality Manager

to lead quality assurance and continuous improvement initiatives at its production facility.

This is a hands-on leadership role ideal for someone passionate about

process optimization, cross-functional collaboration , and

problem-solving

in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Reporting directly to senior leadership, the Quality Manager will play a key role in ensuring internal quality standards and customer expectations are consistently met-while driving sustainable process improvements across the organization.

Key Responsibilities

Oversee quality activities across the full product lifecycle - from design to production to end-of-life. Conduct root cause analysis using structured tools (e.g., 8D, 5 Whys); implement effective corrective actions. Deliver hands-on training in quality tools, lean principles, and continuous improvement methodologies. Create and maintain essential documentation: standard work, work instructions, process maps, etc. Provide technical support for process improvement, including time studies and layout evaluations. Lead and facilitate cross-functional teams in executing quality and process improvement projects. Coordinate pilot builds and provide design feedback to enhance product reliability and manufacturability. Collaborate with supply chain and operations teams to proactively manage component availability, EOL notifications, and customer needs. Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related technical field required. Develop, implement, and maintain the Quality Management System (QMS) in accordance with ISO 9001, ISO 13485, or other relevant standards (ISO credentials) 5+ years of experience in Quality, Engineering, or Continuous Improvement within manufacturing (automotive experience strongly preferred but not required). Demonstrated ability to influence and collaborate across teams and leadership levels. Proven record of using KPIs to drive measurable improvements in quality, cost, or efficiency. Familiarity with manufacturing quality systems. Strong computer proficiency and data analysis skills. Highly organized and self-directed; able to manage multiple priorities effectively. Pay Details:

$100,000.00 to $140,000.00 per year
