Phlebotomist
Patient Services Representative II (PSR II)
plays a vital front-line role, representing the face of the company to patients during routine or diagnostic health visits. This position is responsible for
high-quality blood specimen collection , ensuring safe and accurate draws, and preparing samples for laboratory testing. The PSR II ensures compliance, fosters patient confidence, and delivers top-tier customer service in diverse clinical environments.
Key Responsibilities
Perform daily tasks under supervision to support specimen collection and processing Collect forensic and clinical specimens accurately and professionally Maintain a clean, safe, and professional working environment Verify patient identification and ensure proper labeling and documentation Explain collection procedures and build patient trust through strong communication Maintain accurate records and complete documentation per protocol Represent the organization positively to patients, clients, and the public Complete daily field reporting tasks and documentation as required Travel to and cover additional locations with minimal notice as needed Required Experience
3 years of phlebotomy experience, including pediatric, geriatric, and capillary draws High school diploma or equivalent required Valid driver's license and reliable transportation (if applicable) Comfortable working independently in a fast-paced, high-volume setting Ability to handle multiple priorities and work flexible hours including weekends and holidays Nice-to-Have Experience
Experience working in a Patient Service Center (PSC) environment Customer service experience in retail or clinical settings Medical assistant or paramedic training Keyboard and data entry experience Required Skills
Phlebotomy (adult, pediatric, geriatric) Patient Interaction & Communication Data Accuracy Time Management Recordkeeping & Compliance Preferred Skills
Phlebotomy Certification (not required in TX, but preferred) Specimen Labeling Protocols Forensic Collection Procedures Additional Skills
Flexibility to travel between sites Clinical Documentation Multi-location coverage support Benefits
