Phlebotomist Patient Services Representative , the face of our diagnostic services. In this critical role, you'll collect high-quality blood specimens and prepare them for lab analysis, ensuring both
accuracy
and
compassionate patient care . This position demands excellent communication skills,
clinical precision , and a commitment to upholding the highest confidentiality standards.
Key Responsibilities
Perform daily activities as directed by the area supervisor with
timeliness
and
accuracy . Maintain a safe and professional patient-facing environment. Execute both forensic and clinical specimen collection procedures. Prepare and process blood samples per established protocols. Maintain all required documentation and patient records. Promote a positive, professional image to patients, clients, and the public. Required Experience
Minimum of 6 months of relevant experience in a clinical or lab setting. Proven
phlebotomy skills
including pediatric and geriatric collections. Data entry or keyboarding experience essential. Nice-to-Have Experience
1+ years of phlebotomy experience. Customer service experience in retail or healthcare environments. Required Skills
Ability to deliver
error-free work
in a fast-paced setting. Work independently with minimal supervision. Flexibility for
weekends, holidays, on-call, and overtime
as needed. Preferred Skills
Medical Assistant or Paramedic training. Phlebotomy certification ( Required in California ). Additional Skills
Strong interpersonal and communication abilities. Sensitivity to confidential patient data. Time management and multitasking capabilities. Benefits
