Benefits/HRIS Manager (Temp to Hire) Location

Marriottsville, Maryland Jones Networking is recruiting for an experienced Benefits/HRIS Manager to join a Non-Profit organization in Marriottsville, Maryland that provides a competitive salary and excellent benefits. Base pay range

$80,000.00/yr - $90,000.00/yr Responsibilities

Serves as point of contact for employees regarding benefit questions, plan details, eligibility and any claims. Administers employee benefits programs such as health, dental, vision, life insurance, short/long term disability, FMLA, COBRA, workers compensation and leave of absence. Handles open enrollment, including employee communication, system updates and vendor coordination with the Broker and HRIS/payroll administrator. Ensures compliance with state and federal regulations. Handles onboarding, benefit orientation sessions, and offboarding sessions. Maintains and updates records and documentation in HRIS system as well as benefits platform. Collaborates with benefits vendors, brokers and HRIS/payroll vendor to manage relationships. Develops, coordinates and handles all benefits and employee training sessions. Analyzes trends in benefits to support cost-effective and competitive offerings. Develops and communicates wellness programs and employee engagement initiatives. Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field. PHR, SHRM-CP or CEBS certification preferred. Experience with ADP Workforce Now HRIS/benefits platforms preferred. Experience working for a non-profit and/or religious organization preferred. Minimum of 5 years of experience in benefits administration or a related HR role. Knowledge of federal and state benefits laws and regulations. Strong attention to detail. Organizational skills. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion. Proficient in MS Office Suite. Proficient in HRIS systems. Compensation and Benefits
