CES/AWS is seeking a Maintenance Technician for an Automotive Manufacturing
Location:
Blue Springs, MO Schedule:
1st shift/Temp to Hire Compensation: $32-$35 per hour DOE Industrial maintenance experience is a must Key Responsibilities:
Troubleshoot, maintain, and repair electrical systems, including PLCs, motors, drives, and robotic systems. Perform preventative maintenance to keep manufacturing equipment running efficiently. Quickly identify and resolve electrical issues to minimize downtime. Work with the maintenance team to enhance machine performance and reliability. Read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and diagrams. Keep accurate records of maintenance tasks and parts inventory. Follow company safety guidelines and OSHA regulations. Support continuous improvement projects to optimize manufacturing processes. Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED required; technical or vocational training in electrical maintenance is a plus. At least 3 years of electrical maintenance experience in a manufacturing setting, preferably in the automotive industry. Proficiency with PLCs (e.g., Allen Bradley, Siemens) and familiarity with robotic systems (e.g., ABB, Fanuc). Strong understanding of electrical systems, including motors, drives, and control circuits.
