General Summary
Under the immediate supervision of the Property Manager, the Leasing Consultant is responsible for all aspects of leasing production at an apartment community. Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities
Meet, greet & tour leasing prospects Ensure that both individual and group leasing targets are achieved and communicate opportunities or threats to the Property Manager Respond promptly and effectively to all online rental inquiries Understand site leasing trends, traffic patterns, and product availability Maintain all sales & leasing models to high standards and communicate issues proactively Keep the “tour route” clean and well-maintained, reporting problems as needed Close the leasing process confidently by asking for the sale Ensure lead information is accurate in Resman and Knock Follow up with prospects via email, phone, or letter Manage the community waitlist and communicate updates Warm call prospects as needed Execute screening procedures properly Prepare and process lease agreements and move-in paperwork Collect all funds and move-in fees correctly Maintain “model open” signs and ensure they look presentable daily Support customer service efforts at the community Complete other tasks as assigned
