General Summary
Under the supervision of the Property Manager, the Leasing Consultant handles all aspects of leasing production at an apartment community. Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities
Meet, greet, and tour leasing prospects Achieve individual and group leasing targets; communicate opportunities or threats to the Property Manager Respond promptly and effectively to all online rental inquiries Understand site leasing trends, traffic patterns, and product availability Maintain high standards of cleanliness and maintenance for sales & leasing models; communicate issues promptly Keep the “tour route” clean and well-maintained; report problems Close leasing processes by asking for the sale Ensure lead information is accurate and complete within Resman and Knock Follow up with prospects via email, phone, or letter Manage the community waitlist and communicate updates Warm call prospects as needed Execute screening procedures properly Prepare and execute lease agreements and move-in paperwork Collect funds and move-in fees correctly Maintain “model open” signs daily; ensure they are presentable Support customer service efforts at the community Perform other tasks as directed
