Overview
The EHS Specialist II (Management Systems) plays a key role in supporting the development, implementation, and maintenance of the Environmental, Health, and Safety management systems for the Milpitas and San Diego sites. This position focuses on documentation control, data integrity, internal audits, management system conformances and EHS performance benchmarking, ensuring effective deployment of EHS procedures and performance tracking.

Responsibilities
Maintain and update EHS management system documentation in alignment with corporate standards, regulatory requirements and other applicable codes and standards.
Coordinate internal audits and track corrective/preventive actions to closure.
Support management review meetings with metrics, data, and documentation.
Assist in the preparation and organization of external audits and certifications.
Maintain training matrix and help manage LMS content related to EHS programs.
Track leading and lagging indicators for continuous improvement analysis and serve as the overall owner of the EHS systems and processes for Milpitas and San Diego.
Own and maintain EHS relevant applications.
Support the development of SOPs and work instructions aligned to EHS requirements.
Coordinate with cross-functional stakeholders to ensure adherence to document control procedures.
Assist with environmental data tracking and reporting (e.g., water, energy, emissions).
Ensure version control and proper archiving of EHS records.
Support and participate in EHS campaigns and activities.
May serve as the EHS business partner to assigned functional unit(s); supporting EHS programs including but not limited to EHS change management, etc.
Other duties as required to support the needs of the business.
Qualifications
Minimum Education
Required: Bachelor of Science in Environmental, Health, and Safety or any related field.
Preferred: Certifications such as NSC – Advanced Safety Certificate, BCSP – ASP, etc., or ability to obtain them within 2 years of hire date.
Minimum Experience
A minimum of 1-3 years of EHS experience in highly regulated environments (medical device, pharma, or biotech preferred).
Knowledge of regulatory compliance and EHS systems preferred.
