About the Role
We are seeking an exceptionally accomplished and visionary Sr. Enterprise Account Executive to join our Enterprise/Field Sales team. In this expert-level role, you will drive Cloudflare's most strategic customer engagements, leading the charge in securing and expanding critical platform sales within focused accounts. The ideal candidate possesses leadership in sales, a deep grasp of enterprise architecture across business, data, applications, and technology, and the ability to articulate how Cloudflare integrates into modern cloud operating models.
As a Sr. Enterprise Account Executive, you will demonstrate the highest level of sales proficiency, ensuring highly accurate forecasting, strategic pipeline management, and consistently exceeding attainment targets. You will educate customers and partners on Cloudflare's product ecosystem and its place within the broader security landscape. This role requires applying executive sponsorship programs, engaging with CIOs, CISOs, and CTOs, and leading virtual teams that include VPs and SVPs to navigate and close complex, transformative opportunities. You will shape customers' digital transformation journeys and position Cloudflare as their indispensable strategic partner.
What You'll Do
Executive-Level Strategic Revenue Leadership: Own and execute the most critical territory and account plans, consistently exceeding multi-million dollar sales targets and annual quotas by architecting and closing large-scale platform sales within focused, strategic accounts.
Precision Forecasting & Pipeline Mastery: Lead with forecasting accuracy and proactive pipeline management; provide visionary insights that guide the sales organization.
Enterprise Architecture & Business Model Expertise: Exhibit expert understanding of Enterprise Architecture across four pillars and map Cloudflare solutions to customer business models and modern cloud operating models.
C-Suite Engagement & Executive Sponsorship: Lead complex engagements across multiple business units, applying executive sponsorship programs and engaging with CIOs, CISOs, and CTOs.
Cross-Functional Leadership & Influence: Drive virtual teams that include Product Managers, VPs, and SVPs to manage and close strategic opportunities; remove roadblocks and share learnings to improve delivery.
Digital Transformation Visionary: Champion Cloudflare’s role in digital transformation and identify opportunities within market trends to position Cloudflare as a key partner.
Organizational Communication & Feedback: Craft clear messaging across departments and locations; review performance and provide constructive feedback.
Long-Term Strategic Impact: Articulate long-term implications of decisions and model Cloudflare’s high standards.
Define Goals & Drive Efficiency: Define quarterly goals and metrics; understand interdependencies and proactively address roadblocks for efficient results.
Company-Wide Innovation & Problem Solving: Proactively address needs and drive innovative change across the organization.
Inclusive Leadership & Future-Proofing: Lead with diverse perspectives to address today’s needs and future challenges.
Sales & BI Tools Proficiency: Expert-level proficiency in Salesforce, Tableau, G-Suite, Microsoft 365, MEDDPICC, and related tools.
Education & Travel: Bachelor's degree required; MBA or advanced technical degree preferred. Ability to travel extensively as needed.
Compensation & Benefits Compensation may be adjusted depending on work location.
Estimated annual salary of $320,000-$350,000 (base/variable)
This role is eligible for incentive compensation under Cloudflare's Sales Compensation Plan. The estimated annual salary range includes on-target incentive compensation.
Equity : This role is eligible to participate in Cloudflare's equity plan.
