Client Management Responsibilities: Shares documents, schedules and field updates. Participates in client conversations, contributing to basic presentations of documents and research findings with a gradual increase throughout development in the role. Engages in broader team conversations that proactively link past research and upcoming proposal opportunities to the current research. Role Summary: Focuses on executional excellence, while growing internal and client partnership skills. Understands the project lifecycle for custom research and manages projects start to finish with exceptional proficiency, with some supervision. Comfortable interacting with clients on execution-focused tasks and contributing to presentations for basic results. Provides pricing support and material development for proposals as requested. Participates in thinking through methodological considerations and recommendations as part of a larger account team. Overlooks and coordinates with junior team members providing project-level support, delegating work, providing instructions and quality control. Involved in analytic plans and aspects of report writing to find the story in the data. Project Management Responsibilities: Key execution activities include custom survey development, link checking, fieldwork monitoring, data processing and analysis planning, report visualization and storytelling guidance, report population and development, overseeing the role of Analysts on these tasks, and tasks performed under supervision of manager or senior team members. Employee Management Responsibilities: May act as manager to Analysts or Senior Analysts as they rotate through the service line. Includes overseeing training schedules, day-to-day workload guidance and supervision, and providing feedback. Strategic Thinking Expectations: Minor strategic thinking with a focus on developing analytical skills. Observe more senior team members’ client interactions, decision-making and broader vision. Proactively seek industry information related to client needs to anticipate those needs. Qualifications

Advanced proficiency with MS Office Suite; specifically MS Excel and MS PowerPoint Outstanding attention to detail, accuracy and thoroughness in completing tasks Ability to positively interact with internal support teams Superior organizational skills, with attention to detail and accuracy of information Data savvy with basic knowledge of SPSS or other quantitative reporting tools is a plus Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining strong client service orientation Ability to manage complex, multi-faceted project budgets and to create, manage, and commit to a project plan, schedule and budget Highly motivated, self-directed & capable of meeting tight deadlines Team player with excellent written and verbal communication skills Bachelor’s degree required; master’s level education is an asset At least 2 years of market research experience Note: If you don’t meet 100% of the requirements, we encourage all who feel they might be a fit to apply. Ipsos may consider a variety of backgrounds for a particular role and is committed to considering candidates for available positions throughout the organization. The salary range for this role in New York, NY is $75,000 to $80,000. Final base salary will be determined based on several factors including location, experience, skills, knowledge, education and/or certifications. What’s In It For You

The team specializes in strategic brand research as well as category and consumer fundamentals, including brand equity and whitespace opportunities.
