Occupational Therapist (OT) - UCSF Health This is an inpatient position within Saint Francis/St Mary’s Hospitals Rehabilitation Services department. The Entry Level Occupational Therapist reports to the Clinical Supervisor and provides direct and indirect patient care. Primary work with adult and geriatric patients; specific pediatric competencies and clinical experience may be applicable for work with infants, children, and/or adolescents. Relocation reimbursement offered. Sign-On Bonus: $5,000 for candidates with Acute Care experience. Final salary and offer components are subject to UC policy. Responsibilities

Plan and administer a full range of occupational therapy services for patients with physical and cognitive impairments and functional limitations. Perform patient evaluations using various physical, cognitive, visual/perceptual, psychosocial, and developmental tests and measurements; establish therapeutic intervention goals and develop and implement therapeutic intervention plans using occupational therapy techniques. Maintain applicable patient records related to the delivery of patient care services. Mentor or supervise support personnel as appropriate; participate in compliance, quality, safety, and process improvement initiatives within the department and organization. Collaborate with the clinical care team and adapt care across UCSF Medical Center locations as needed. Qualifications

Required: MS or MA degree from an accredited Occupational Therapy program. Less than one year of licensed clinical practice experience. Minimum one full-time fieldwork education experience in an acute care hospital or acute rehabilitation setting. Ability to communicate effectively in English (oral and written). Basic computer skills including work within Epic electronic medical record. Good interpersonal, time management, problem solving, and self-initiation skills. Flexibility to orient and work at all UCSF Medical Center locations. Preferred Qualifications

Doctorate degree from an accredited Occupational Therapy program. Prior experience providing patient care in acute care hospital and acute rehab/IRF settings. Experience working on an interdisciplinary health provider team. Licensure/Certification

Eligibility for licensure as an Occupational Therapist by the Occupational Therapy Board of California. Eligibility for AHA BLS certification. About UCSF
