The Site Leader provides world-class jobsite leadership for large, long-duration, high-profile projects for Vertiv power and/or thermal equipment. The Site Leader is the primary Vertiv on-site technical representative for large jobs, from construction start through start-up, site acceptance testing, and project completion. The Site Leader establishes, grows, and maintains rapport with customers, co-workers, sales representatives, and others as appropriate. The Site Lead works with the assigned Project Manager to drive cost controls, schedule adherence, resource management, and a positive customer experience. DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

ROLE SUMMARY Provide jobsite construction and technical leadership for large projects Working knowledge of critical infrastructure equipment in data centers, including Vertiv-manufactured equipment Lead a multi-disciplinary on-site team including Project Leaders, Installers, Technicians, Customer Engineers, and subcontractors Represent Vertiv at daily customer meetings and communicate technical requirements to coordinate on-site activity Lead and support start-up and site testing activities for assigned projects Ensure sufficient manpower on-site each day to perform start-up and site testing work Assist during start-up and site testing as necessary depending on manpower and site location Provide daily status reports to Service Management, Project Management and sales representative

TECHNICAL RESPONSIBILITIES

Keeps current on Vertiv equipment start-up and commissioning processes, procedures, and tools Keeps current on Safety Bulletins, Safety Field Change Notices, Field Change Notices, and Service Tips SAFETY RESPONSIBILITIES

Leads daily toolbox talks, pre-job safety walk and inspection, and drives corrective/preventative actions Adheres to all site and Vertiv Safety policies Operates safely per published guidelines and wears PPE as required Adheres to work hours policy guidelines – “14 hours rule” Reports all work-related accidents or injuries within 24 hours Leads by example with STOP WORK Authority and timely corrective actions ADMINISTRATIVE RESPONSIBILITIES

Adheres to Vertiv Warranty process in partnership with Project Manager Provides accurate and timely reporting (timecards, expense reports, mileage, SR/task closure, forms) Supports Project Manager with obtaining necessary technical data Maintains company property (credit cards, PPE, test equipment, laptop, smartphone, etc.) CUSTOMER SATISFACTION RESPONSIBILITIES

Provides proper and adequate communication to internal and external customers Ensures daily alignment of customer expectations with Vertiv activity and clarifies as needed Maintains customer satisfaction rates per guidelines PERSONAL PERFORMANCE EXPECTATIONS

Make decisions prioritizing Safety, Quality, Timeliness, Cost, Productivity Make timely technical and commercial decisions under pressure Maintain productive utilization rate per guidelines Adhere to dress code and safety regulations Understand startup/escalation processes Lead by example in line with Vertiv Behaviors Communicate effectively with all levels of the organization Manage stressful situations and maintain diplomacy QUALIFICATIONS

Experience (one or more): ASEET or ASMET preferred; equivalent industry experience in start-up/commissioning of power and/or HVAC equipment; six years military experience in a related field; minimum 2 years in industrial construction management Interpersonal Skills: Vertiv Behavior practitioner, strong organizational skills, independent operator, strong verbal/written communication, build trusting customer relationships, collaborative under pressure, executive presence Ability to read electrical one-line diagrams and blueprints Technical skills: site evaluation, on-site leadership, COHE procedures, site acceptance testing, computer skills, mechanical aptitude WORKING CONDITIONS

Long-term assignments (4 weeks to 12+ months) depending on scope Field rotation travel with on-site work and required administrative duties Industrial new construction or retrofit sites Flexible schedules including weekends/evenings/holidays Valid driver’s license; deployable in emergencies PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
