$78,500.00/yr - $192,500.00/yr Responsibilities

Execute brand strategy and tactics in field, drive sales performance, manage the assigned territory and targeted accounts, and build strong customer relationships to maximize short and long-term sales performance, placing the patient at the center of efforts and operating within AbbVie’s business code of conduct, policies and all applicable laws and regulations. Deliver sales performance, brand KPIs, financial targets, marketing objectives, etc., to meet or exceed objectives. Create pre-call plan objectives and execute post-call evaluation to improve sales performance; handle objections and concerns to close on sales calls. Aim to serve customer needs and challenges to build trusted relationships and achieve win-win agreements between AbbVie and customers. Develop and execute a call plan that achieves set call metrics and optimizes coverage and frequency to key customers to maximize access and sales opportunities. Gather and share market intelligence on customer needs, territory landscape, competitors, market dynamics, accounts, disease state, product, and sales insights with in-field team, brand team and sales manager to align strategy and execution. Differentiate AbbVie’s value proposition with health providers and identify, develop, and maintain disease state experts and speakers/advocates to maximize brand performance. Drive a personal auto or company car, or use required equipment as part of field activities. Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in health, sciences, pharmacy or business-related field preferred or relevant and equivalent industry experience required. In lieu of a bachelor’s degree, at least five (5) years of industry experience with three (3) or more years in pharmaceutical/health/science preferred; high school diploma/GED required. Demonstrates in-depth scientific, therapeutic, product, and competitive knowledge; strong business acumen and proficiency with business tools; strategic and critical thinking capabilities. Proactive in adapting selling approaches to customer style/behavior; develops sales strategies and offers innovative ideas to maximize opportunities. Ability to operate effectively in a matrix environment; credible and respected among peers; builds partnerships with district colleagues and matrix teams. Preferred: Proven sales performance in respective therapeutic areas; experience in physician/account-based selling, training, managed care, or marketing; English proficiency (verbal and written). Must satisfy HCIR credentialing requirements to gain and maintain entry into facilities within the assigned territory; responsible for meeting credentialing requirements and associated liabilities. The compensation range is the range of possible base pay compensation and may be modified; individual pay depends on location, experience, and other factors.
