Responsible for all aspects of the Stores' operations. Lead the entire operation of the Store to ensure Company standards and best practices are met. Staff, train and develop leadership to deliver sales and profit results while maintaining a friendly, easy-to-shop environment. Recruit, train and develop Associates. Manage Stockroom, Front End, and Sales Floor operations to ensure timely merchandise flow, proper receiving, and controlled expenses through best practices and productivity. Responsibilities

Lead all Company Best Practices and maximize productivity by minimizing steps and touches. Analyze store reports to evaluate controllable expenses and overall store performance. Address variances to Company standards with action plans, in coordination with the District Manager. Ensure proper scheduling of Associates to meet business objectives. Accept special assignments from Leadership. Payroll administration including daily punch edits, scheduling compliance, payroll transmission, and reporting as needed. Recruit, hire, train and develop Assistant Managers, Area Supervisors and non-exempt Associates. Reduce store turnover through selection, training and motivation; utilize retention tools and ensure required training is completed timely. Address personnel and performance issues, including coaching and progressive discipline when needed. Ensure compliance with Ross personnel policies and procedures; manage Associate relations with District Manager input. Ensure compliance with all state, local and federal regulations. Lead expenditures within budget; control payroll hours as the primary controllable expense and adapt to business trends. Maintain a safe and secure environment; ensure adherence to safety policies. Provide excellent customer service; supervise cash handling, customer service desks, fitting rooms, and sales floor activities. Model professional appearance and enforce company dress code; maintain a clean, easy-to-shop environment. Ensure merchandise presentation aligns with company guidelines and process merchandise efficiently to the floor. Lead loss prevention efforts, train Associates, safeguard information and assets, and oversee annual inventory processes. Qualifications

Five or more years of Store management experience in a retail environment. Strong customer service orientation and ability to lead, manage, motivate, and communicate with Store Associates at all levels. Ability to train, coach and develop Associates; strong organizational and prioritization skills. Fluency in English; ability to exercise independent judgement and discretion. Ability to work evenings and weekends. Physical requirements

Ability to use store equipment, stand/walk for up to 100% of the time, bend, squat, kneel, climb, carry, reach and stoop. Occasionally push, pull and lift more than 25 lbs; operate janitorial equipment and ladders. Ability to perform basic retail math. Supervisory responsibilities

Direct supervision of Assistant Store Manager, Area Supervisors and all Retail Associates. Equal Employment Opportunity
