Senior Finance Manager - University Endowment - Boston
We’re looking for a
Senior Finance Manager
to join a small investment team in Boston. This role is a great fit for someone who enjoys the intersection of accounting, operations, and investments while supporting a mission-driven portfolio. Our client is open to candidates coming out of public accounting firms or investment firms. Responsibilities
Oversee portfolio operations including accounting processes, monthly close, and performance reporting. Work closely with third-party administrators, auditors, and tax providers. Monitor cash activity, manage reconciliations, and prepare reporting. Assist with operational due diligence on external investment managers. Support tax-related matters such as 990T prep, K-1 analysis, and investment-related filings. Contribute to annual audits, surveys, peer analysis, and other special projects. Help manage the office operating budget and reporting. Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance, plus a minimum of 5+ years of experience in accounting and/or investment operations. Background in asset management or investment office operations. CPA highly desired. This is a hands-on role where you’ll wear many hats, from portfolio operations to audit support.
