Overview
We are implementing Dayforce. The QA resource we are looking for is a Senior Quality Analyst who will be involved in validating core HR and payroll across multiple sprints. In this role, you will lead the development and execution of comprehensive testing strategies, ensuring high quality standards for our HR partners. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to develop a deep understanding of the Dayforce system, driving quality initiatives and fostering a culture of continuous improvement. Responsibilities
Design and implement robust testing frameworks and strategies to assess product quality across various stages of the implementation. Lead the creation, review, and execution of test plans, test cases, and automation scripts, ensuring full coverage of functional and non-functional requirements. Identify and track defects, working with development teams to prioritize and resolve issues efficiently. Conduct risk assessments and provide actionable insights to stakeholders, promoting proactive quality measures. Mentor and support business users and stakeholders, guiding them in best practices for testing methodologies. Collaborate with development teams and business SMEs to translate requirements into clear, testable objectives. Drive the adoption of automation tools and CI/CD practices to enhance testing efficiency. Qualifications
Required: Strong understanding of HR processes, Onboarding, time tracking, payroll and benefits. 3-5 years of experience testing ERP and HCM systems. 3+ years hands-on Dayforce experience preferred; will consider other systems such as Workday. Functional understanding of HR/Payroll workflows; experience writing and executing test cases for core Dayforce modules. Validating business rules and workflows across time/attendance, payroll, etc. Strong traceability between requirements and test cases. Understanding of software development processes, testing methodologies, and QA best practices, including unit, integration, UAT, parallel payroll testing, functional and smoke testing. Experience testing integrations with external systems (e.g., Workday, Dynamics, AD, banking/payroll platforms). Experience validating API-based or flat-file integrations. Knowledge of compliance requirements (e.g., ACA, local tax). Experience with performance testing tools and methodologies. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail. Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders. Experience with testing data migration/import (e.g., from legacy ERP or Excel). SQL knowledge or ability to validate records in back-end tables. Experience testing integrations with Microsoft apps (e.g., Power BI, SharePoint). Preferred: Experience with Agile methodologies and cross-functional teams. Certifications in quality assurance (e.g., ISTQB) or relevant fields. Experience with test automation tools such as Selenium, JUnit, or similar frameworks. Why This Opportunity
