Site Lead - Residential Remodel and Construction

Overview
We are seeking an experienced Site Lead to manage medium to large-scale construction and remodeling projects from initial planning through final completion. The ideal candidate is highly involved in the day-to-day activities on the construction site, ensuring projects progress smoothly, on time, and within budget. This role combines leadership, hands-on fieldwork, and project coordination. The Site Lead will oversee crews, manage schedules, address on-site challenges, coordinate with stakeholders, and ensure all work meets quality and safety standards. Responsibilities
Supervise daily construction activities and ensure adherence to project timelines. Monitor progress to confirm work is completed on schedule and within budget. Perform or oversee minor repairs and adjustments as needed on-site. Coordinate with clients, architects, engineers, and subcontractors to achieve project goals. Conduct regular site inspections to maintain quality control and compliance with safety regulations. Meet with clients to provide estimates for remodeling or structural changes. Develop project scopes, obtain bids, negotiate contracts, and finalize agreements with contractors. Collaborate with suppliers and subcontractors to procure and inspect materials. Prepare and manage accurate project cost estimates and timelines. Evaluate technical requirements, finishes, and advanced technologies to offer clients affordable, high-quality options. Identify and resolve on-site issues such as design conflicts, delays, or material shortages. Oversee project close-out, including punch lists, final inspections, and warranty services. Maintain accurate project documentation, including estimates, goods received, scope changes, permits, and reports, with support from the admin team. Stay up to date with industry trends, cost-estimating resources, and best practices. Maintain historical cost data and records using MS Excel with admin team support. Ensure compliance with company policies, industry standards, and regulatory requirements. Requirements
Minimum 5 years of experience supervising construction sites, with a focus on remodeling projects. Proven track record as a hands-on leader in construction environments. Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and direct crews. Excellent communication skills for interaction with workers, clients, and stakeholders. Proficiency with construction management or project management software. OSHA certification and LEED AP (or equivalent). In-depth knowledge of local building codes, safety regulations, and OSHA standards. Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
