Human Resources & Benefits Specialist

on a

contract to hire basis

This role will be the face of day-to-day HR operations, with a strong focus on benefits administration This is a great opportunity for someone who loves benefits administration and running open enrollment but also wants to grow into broader HR responsibilities over time

Schedule: 9am-5pm or 8am-4pm M-F. Position is on site Ellicott City, MD, with potential for remote work after training (up to 2 days per week) Salary: $80,000-$90,000 Job Duties of the Human Resources & Benefits Specialist: Serve as the main day-to-day HR contact for staff, supporting employees with benefits, HR, and general inquiries Manage benefits administration, including open enrollment, broker communication, and ensuring accurate processing in ADP WFN Assist with pulling HR and benefits reports from ADP WFN Work in the applicant tracking system to support recruiting efforts, job postings, and candidate management Assist with new hire orientation and onboarding processes to ensure smooth integration of employees Provide HR support in areas such as compliance, policies, and employee relations Collaborate with the payroll manager, leadership, and external partners to ensure accuracy and efficiency across HR functions Qualifications for the Human Resources & Benefits Specialist: 3+ years of HR experience required with a strong focus on benefits administration

Recruiting and onboarding experience a plus but not required

Experience with ADP Workforce Now highly preferred

Ability to pull and analyze reports strongly preferred

Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills, with the ability to be a trusted HR resource for staff Prior healthcare industry experience a plus!
