The Phlebotomist Patient Services Representative I (PSR I) is a

frontline ambassador of diagnostic care , responsible for drawing and processing blood samples with compassion, skill, and accuracy. Working under supervision, the PSR I ensures

excellent patient service

while maintaining compliance with safety and lab standards. Assignments may vary across patient service centers or medical offices.

Key Responsibilities

Perform quality venipuncture and specimen collection procedures. Maintain a safe, clean, and professional environment at all times. Process clinical and forensic specimens in compliance with protocols. Accurately document records and follow labeling/ID verification procedures. Promote organizational values and uphold confidentiality. Adapt to staffing needs including weekends, holidays, or flexible scheduling if required. Required Experience

High school diploma or equivalent (required). Minimum 6 months of phlebotomy experience. Keyboarding and data entry proficiency. Phlebotomy certification

required

in Washington. Strong customer service background preferred (retail/service experience a plus). Nice-to-Have Experience

One or more years of phlebotomy experience. Experience working independently in patient service centers or office-based labs. Required Skills

Pediatric and geriatric phlebotomy techniques Accuracy and speed in a high-volume environment Independence and sound judgment Clear patient communication Preferred Skills

Bilingual communication (English/Spanish or other) Mobile/float coverage flexibility Additional Skills
