Level IV NICU, 82-bed unit Contract Duration:

13 weeks (Start: 10/6/2025 - End: 1/5/2026) Shifts:

Rotating 12-hour shifts (3x12 per week), days (7:00 AM - 7:30 PM) and nights (7:00 PM - 7:30 AM) Hours per Week:

36 Weekend Requirement:

4 weekend shifts per 4-week period; holiday rotation Floating:

Required within nursing scope to meet facility needs Patient Ratios:

1:2, 1:3, or 1:4 depending on acuity Charting System:

EPIC Estimated Weekly Salary:

$1530 - $1640 NICU Registered Nurse Qualifications

Minimum 2 years of recent Level IV NICU RN experience (Level III considered case-by-case) Active South Carolina or Multi-State/Compact Registered Nurse License (must be active prior to start) BLS (Basic Life Support) and NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certifications required Advanced NICU nursing skills: ventilator management, arterial and central line care, neonatal resuscitation, care for neonates

Preferred: Experience with ECMO/CRRT, neonatal surgical conditions, and palliative care First-time travel nurses not accepted NICU RN Responsibilities

Provide individualized, goal-directed nursing care to neonates and families in a Level IV NICU Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care using the nursing process Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to deliver comprehensive medical and surgical care Administer medications, manage ventilators, and provide nutritional and respiratory support Monitor and document patient status, respond to emergencies, and participate in palliative and home monitoring programs Float to other nursing units within scope as needed Ensure compliance with hospital policies, infection control, and safety standards
