Level I Trauma Center, Teaching Facility, Magnet Hospital Assignment Length:
13 weeks (Start: 10/6/2025 - End: 1/5/2026) Shift:
Day shift, 3x12-hour shifts per week (Monday-Friday, 6:00am-6:30pm) Estimated Weekly Salary:
$1990-$2130 On-Call:
Required, 5-8 calls per month (including weekends and potential holiday call) Orientation:
16 hours Charting System:
EPIC CVOR Registered Nurse Qualifications
Minimum 2 years of recent CVOR RN experience in a hospital or surgical setting Proficient in scrubbing and circulating complex cardiac, general operating room, and vascular cases Active South Carolina RN license or multi-state compact nursing license (must be in hand at start) BLS and ACLS certifications (AHA required) Radiation badge (provided by agency) Experience with adult patient populations Prior travel nursing experience preferred; first-time travelers not preferred CVOR RN Responsibilities
Scrub and circulate for advanced cardiac, vascular, and general OR procedures, including CABG, TAVR, LVAD, Impella, valve repairs/replacements, heart and lung transplants Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams (IV, respiratory, radiology, rapid response, pharmacy, unit secretary) Maintain compliance with hospital protocols, including emergency response during hurricane season (June-November) Utilize EPIC for accurate charting and clinical documentation Participate in on-call rotation and provide coverage during holidays as needed Ensure patient safety and deliver high-quality clinical care in a fast-paced surgical environment
