Responsibilities
Responsible for providing direct support in the area of Postal and Central Receiving Services for the Office of Business Services (OBS).
Responsible for providing support in the areas of Postal and Central Receiving to include but not be limited to receiving and sorting incoming mail and freight from delivery services. Responsibilities include packing slip reconciliation and assigning bar codes for mail and freight tracking. Position will be required to drive a delivery box truck, operate pallet jacks, and other related equipment with training provided by the University. Responsible for processing outgoing mail, packages, and freight for shipping. Responsibilities will include labeling, calculating correct postage, operating a postal meter machine, affixing postage on outgoing letters, flats, and packages from FSU departments by weight and type of mail in an organized fashion. Generating labels, tray tags, and bar codes in accordance with USPS, Fed Ex, and UPS regulations. Responsibilities include accurate reporting and reconciliation for all postal meter usage. Must possess good computer, verbal, and communication skills, the ability to prioritize, organize and perform multiple work assignments simultaneously, including the ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines. Acts as a customer relations ambassador for the University. Performs additional duties as assigned in support of the Office of Business Services. Qualifications
• High school diploma or equivalent. • A valid State of Florida or Georgia Driver's License or ability to obtain upon hire. • Ability to complete a certified forklift operator training program within 6 months of employment. Training provided by the University. • Ability to lift and move objects weighing more than fifty pounds and stand for long periods of time.
Preferred Qualifications
Prior experience in warehouse logistics and freight delivery. Ability to drive a box truck, operate pallet jacks, and other related equipment.

Anticipated Salary Range
The anticipated starting salary for this position is in the mid $30,000's, commensurate with experience and education.
