Fusion Medical Staffing is hiring: Rehab RN in Chesterfield

Overview

Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a skilled Rehab RN for a 13-week travel assignment in Chesterfield, Missouri. The Rehab RN provides comprehensive care to patients recovering from injuries, surgeries, or illnesses requiring rehabilitative treatment. You will perform nursing assessments, implement care plans, monitor patient progress, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to support patient-centered care and safety.

Responsibilities

• Complete nursing assessments of patients and document appropriately in patient records
• Prepare patients for surgery and educate them about procedures and post-operative care
• Coordinate and provide holistic care, including mobility support, rehabilitation exercises, and activities of daily living (ADLs), in alignment with individualized care plans
• Monitor and evaluate patient responses to therapeutic interventions, document progress, and communicate deviations or concerns to the interdisciplinary team
• Safely administer prescribed medications and treatments with proper documentation and safety compliance
• Maintain a clean, organized environment and ensure rooms are stocked with necessary supplies and equipment
• Assist with safe patient transport to and from therapy sessions, diagnostic procedures, or other care areas as needed
• Perform other duties as assigned within the scope of practice
• Adhere to hospital safety protocols, infection control guidelines, and regulatory standards

Required Qualifications

• One year of recent experience as a Rehab RN
• Valid RN license in compliance with state regulations
• Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC)

Preferred Qualifications

• ACLS certification
• NIHSS certification
• Other certifications and licenses may be required for this position
