Who we are looking for:

We are currently seeking an Information Technology Support Instructional Assistant to join our organization. This person will join our Curriculum & Adult Learning organization. They will be responsible for the following:

Overall Focus:

• Provide effective support in the classroom and be eager to grow technical knowledge.
• Assist the lead instructor both in and out of class in the teaching and administration of the class.
• Display knowledge and/or interest in information technology, software and hardware support, network administration, and technology education.

What You’ll Do:

Out-of-Class Tasks and Responsibilities:

• Assist and/or collaborate with the instructor to grade and/or review assessments, class projects, and other materials
• Enter student grades into LMS software and grading templates
• Update Salesforce data as necessary
• Review curriculum materials and assessments weekly and report any proofreading or subject-matter errors
• Assist instructor with the preparation of daily agenda to students
• Schedule time with instructor and students to discuss class challenges

In-Class Tasks and Responsibilities:

• Monitor class as it is in progress to ensure overall functionality (audio, video, screen appearance, etc.)
• Serve as class timekeeper, monitor breaks and other scheduling information
• Monitor students during test-taking and breakout group activities
• Note challenges presented during class, including disengaged or dominating behaviors and language

Compensation: For this role specifically, targeted hourly rate is $18.00/hr.
