Overview

The Marketing & Communications Specialist is responsible for the overall marketing strategies that need to be conducted in order to support Bank regions and lines of business. The Marketing & Communications Specialist is responsible for the development of cohesive marketing plans and analytics, as well as creative revisions and compliance approvals. She/he is responsible for the implementation of digital marketing plans and must constantly conduct analysis to ensure that the efforts are in line with expectations. Accountable for adhering to the Bank’s BSA, AML and Office of Foreign Asset Control (OFAC) applicable policies. Employee must follow specific unit procedures developed in compliance with the policies. Employee is also responsible for reporting any suspicious activity and/or transactions in accordance with the Bank’s processes and comply with any mandatory BSA, AML and OFAC training assigned.

Essential Responsibilities

Work with the Marketing Manager to develop and implement marketing plans for all products/service in the digital space. 20%

Work with the agencies content/creative development for email marketing, e-drops, events, and digital demand generation advertising campaigns. 20%

Successfully manage and execute marketing initiatives and small projects. 20%

Act as a marketing subject matter expert providing best practices, trends and recommendations to marketing program managers and business partners. 15%

Prepares and executes marketing plans for assigned regions and/or lines of business under the supervision of his or her direct supervisor. 15%

Provide support to other marketing program managers in the execution and analysis of marketing campaigns and promotions to improve overall results. 5%

Processes routine paperwork, including compliance, legal, accounting and payables under direct instruction of immediate supervisor. 5%

Education Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Advertising, Communications or Business Administration

1-3 years of experience or the equivalent combination of Education and Experience needed to be able to perform the functions of this job.

Highly motivated self-starter who can multi-task and respond to changing work activities with very short deadlines. Passionate about understanding consumers and developing marketing and communications programs

High proficiency with Excel and PowerPoint

Demonstrated strong project management and organization skills.

Excellent English and Spanish written and oral communication skills are a must.

Proven ability to work independently and as part of a team – especially in complex and ambiguous work environments.

Detail-oriented and able to maintain a high level of ownership and accuracy in all work activities.

Ability to develop and maintain strong working relationships within the marketing department and business units.

Capable of working under pressure and meet deadlines

Computer proficiency including MS Office
