The Department of Urology at Stanford University seeks a board-certified or board-eligible urologist with an M.D. (or equivalent) to join the department as Clinical Assistant Professor in the Clinician Educator (CE) Line. Subspecialty expertise is a plus, as is prior practice experience. The successful candidate will be expected to treat all aspects of adult general urology in a community-based practice. This position will be located at Stanford Medicine’s East Bay Urology Clinics in Emeryville and Pleasanton and may include other Bay Area outreach sites. This position will be taking call at Tri-Valley Hospital in Pleasanton.

Responsibilities

Provide comprehensive care for adult general urology in a community-based practice setting.

Engage in clinical service, teaching, and potential scholarly activities consistent with the Clinician Educator line.

Participate in on-call coverage at Tri-Valley Hospital in Pleasanton.

Collaborate with colleagues within the Urology Department and across Stanford Medicine to support patient care, education, and program development.

Qualifications

Board-certified or board-eligible in urology.

Medical Doctor (M.D.) or equivalent degree.

Ability to contribute to clinical care, medical student and resident education, and/or scholarship as appropriate to the programmatic need.

Subspecialty expertise and/or prior practice experience are a plus.

Compensation and Application Details The expected base pay range for this position is $372,000 – $399,000. This range reflects base pay and may not include all components of faculty compensation or pay from participation in departmental incentive programs.
