Senior Cost Accountant
Overview:
This Senior Cost Accountant role supports manufacturing operations by analyzing job costs, maintaining standard costs, and driving cost-saving initiatives. The position collaborates across departments including production, procurement, and sales to improve financial insight and operational efficiency. Strong Excel skills, attention to detail, and experience in a manufacturing environment are essential. The role also supports audits, budgeting, and month-end close processes.
Responsibilities:
- Analyze job and production costs
- Maintain and update standard costs
- Support audits and financial reviews
- Drive cost-saving process improvements
Qualifications:
- 3+ years cost accounting experience
- Manufacturing industry background preferred
- Strong Excel and ERP system skills
- Detail-oriented and highly analytical
