Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled HRIS Data Analyst to support and optimize our HR technology landscape while delivering meaningful insights through advanced data analytics. The ideal candidate will combine expertise in HR systems management with strong technical skills in Power BI, Python, SQL, and R. This role will partner with HR, IT, and business leaders to ensure data integrity, streamline HR processes, and develop analytics that drive informed decision‑making across the organization.

Responsibilities

  • HRIS Management & Optimization: Maintain, configure, and optimize the company’s HRIS systems to meet evolving organizational needs; Manage data integrity, system upgrades, testing, and documentation of processes; Partner with HR and IT teams to ensure smooth integration with payroll, benefits, and performance management systems.
  • Data Analytics & Reporting: Design and build Power BI dashboards and reports to visualize workforce trends, compliance metrics, and operational KPIs; Use SQL, Python, and R to extract, clean, and analyze large HR datasets; Deliver actionable insights to HR leadership and business stakeholders through data storytelling.
  • Process Improvement & Compliance: Automate recurring HR reports and streamline workflows to reduce manual effort; Support compliance reporting (EEO, OFCCP, GDPR, etc.) and ensure HR data governance; Partner with HR leadership to recommend process improvements based on analytics.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Serve as the main point of contact for HR data requests across multiple departments; Provide technical support and training for HR team members on reporting tools and HRIS functionalities.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Information Systems, Data Analytics, or related field.
  • 3–5 years of experience in HRIS administration and HR data analytics.
  • Strong proficiency in SQL, Power BI, Python, and R with the ability to handle complex datasets.
  • Experience with one or more major HRIS platforms (Workday, UKG, Dayforce, SAP SuccessFactors, ADP, Oracle HCM, etc.).
  • Understanding of HR processes, compliance requirements, and data governance best practices.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills with a detail-oriented, analytical mindset.
  • Strong communication skills to present findings to both technical and non-technical audiences.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience integrating HRIS with payroll, benefits, and ATS systems.
  • Familiarity with cloud data environments (Azure, AWS, or GCP).
  • Knowledge of advanced statistical modeling, forecasting, or machine learning techniques applied to HR data.
