Business Consulting - Healthcare Transformation - Manager - Patient Access role at EY. As a Manager in EY’s Health consulting practice, you will work with providers across the country to solve complex problems in today’s rapidly changing healthcare environment, focusing on patient access to manage client engagement teams, deliver professional services, and drive business development on strategic accounts. Your Key Responsibilities

Lead provider operations projects and work with a broad spectrum of healthcare clients (not-for-profit and for-profit hospitals, healthcare systems, physician practices, academic medical centers) to assess and redesign clinical processes. Manage client engagement teams, deliver high-quality work within timeframes and budgets, monitor progress and risks, and keep stakeholders informed. Develop and maintain client relationships, identify opportunities for service expansion, and contribute to business development efforts on strategic and global priority accounts. Engage in operational improvement, benchmarking and financial quantification, cost reduction/revenue enhancement, workflow redesign, and patient access initiatives including template management, template optimization, and scheduling algorithms. Qualifications and Experience

A bachelor’s degree with approximately 5 years of related work experience; or a master’s degree with approximately 4 years of related work experience. Approximately 4 years of healthcare consulting experience, preferably with prior experience as a manager (or above) in a consulting firm or in a management role within industry. Required experience with patient access and centralized contact centers; ability to lead patient access initiatives including clinician management, template management, template optimization, referral management, and scheduling algorithms in ambulatory settings. Experience with centralization of patient access functions, including contact center staffing models and technology for engagement channels. Ability to read and interpret hospital financial statements and contract terms, use complex financial models, map operational processes, and engage in healthcare cost reduction planning and implementation. Experience with healthcare organization M&A, physician alignment, or financial margin improvement initiatives; ability to sell and deliver projects across the full lifecycle from assessment to implementation. Ability to generate revenue within existing healthcare clients and develop new prospects at the C‑level of large healthcare companies. Ability to manage a team of staff and senior consultants; strong collaboration skills and ability to lead or follow as needed. Strong analytical, problem-solving, written and oral communication skills; proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Visio, PowerPoint). Willingness to travel to meet client needs as required. Ideally You’ll Also Have
