About The Role We are looking for someone passionate about paid app advertising, well-versed in mobile measurement, with a passion and interest in thought leadership who wants to join a fun digital agency that is a leader in performance and AI. The ideal candidate is confident in their ability to drive improvements in account performance, successfully build and lead client relationships, and train future app strategists. This role sits within the paid search department. It is a great opportunity for a person who has an entrepreneurial spirit and is looking to grow into a leadership role in a large organization as we grow this capability.

Responsibilities

Client & Revenue Oversight: Serve as the paid app lead for 2-4 MM clients, guiding overall app account strategy, executing campaign builds, and implementing optimizations including pacing, bid and budget changes, creative swaps, and audience targeting.

Budget Management: Experience and comfort managing budgets over $3MM quarterly/annually.

Client Communication: Lead weekly client calls for app tactics and additional meetings for Quarterly Business Reviews and Planning.

Optimization & Insights: Make recommendations using MMP insights to improve performance toward client goals; conduct app strategy audits and present findings.

Business Development: Assist in new business opportunities by providing audits, industry insights, and opportunities with ownership from growth and media channel leads.

Thought Leadership: Build and share app market research insights with the organization; develop best practices for app creative in partnership with internal teams; opportunities to distribute thought leadership via blog posts.

Partnerships & Strategy: Manage agency vendor relationships with core app networks and mobile measurement partners; guide agency POV on privacy changes (e.g., iOS 14) and tracking with these changes.

Analytics & Reporting: Build client-facing in-app analytics dashboards with support from the Analytics team.

About You The essentials:

At least 3 years of experience in acquisition marketing and/or paid performance media

Experience leading iOS and Android app strategy across Meta (Facebook), Google App Campaigns, ASA (Apple Search Ads), and app network buys; execution in-platform

Experience in a client-facing role

Comfortable working in an agile environment

Ability to handle multiple workstreams in tandem

Proven track record of increasing in-app lifetime value for eCommerce and/or subscription clients (including in-app events and user quality)

Knowledge of MMPs and SDKs (Firebase, AppsFlyer, Kochava, Branch.io, etc.)

POV on iOS 14 and upcoming Android privacy changes and how to navigate tracking

Ability to guide tracking recommendations and in-app event taxonomy for clients

Experience with app intelligence and app market research is a plus

Experience in SA360 or Skai is a plus

Previous SEM experience is a plus

Experience in managing app campaigns internationally is a plus

Monks has provided a compensation range that represents its good faith estimate of what Monks may pay for the position at the time of posting. Monks may ultimately pay more or less than the posted compensation range. The salary offered will be determined based on job-related factors, but not on a candidate’s sex or any other protected status.

Salary Range $80,000—$97,000 USD
