MEP VP of Preconstruction - Mechanical Construction
We are seeking an experienced Vice President of Preconstruction to lead our mechanical construction preconstruction division. This executive role is responsible for overseeing all preconstruction activities, including estimating, budgeting, value engineering, and proposal development for large-scale commercial, healthcare, industrial, and institutional projects. The VP will manage and mentor preconstruction teams, collaborate with clients and design partners, and ensure accurate, competitive, and innovative solutions are delivered. Responsibilities: Lead and manage the preconstruction department, including estimators and support staff. Oversee budgets, estimates, and value engineering strategies for large mechanical projects. Partner with business development to support proposals and client presentations. Ensure accurate scope development, risk management, and project handoff to operations. Mentor and develop team members to support growth and excellence. Qualifications: Extensive experience in mechanical construction preconstruction. Proven leadership managing teams and multimillion-dollar projects. Strong client-facing and communication skills.
