Under the direction of the Strategic Management Office Chief, an SSMII, the Strategic Management Specialist will act as a lead in the tracking, monitoring, reporting, and management of the Caltrans Strategic Plan, including the Plan\'s strategic actions and performance objectives. This position will be responsible for collaborating and coordinating with partners throughout Caltrans to accurately report on the progress of the Strategic Plan, developing communications, reports, and presentations. The Specialist will lead the reporting and coordination of quarterly, monthly, and ad hoc requests from the Director\'s Office, CalSTA, and the Governor\'s Office. The Specialist will act as a subject matter expert offering consultation to other Caltrans districts and programs regarding the Department\'s Strategic Plan and in the development of their own internal plans. Position located at 1120 N Street, Sacramento, CA 95814. Hybrid telework is available in accordance with state and Caltrans telework policy. Incumbent will generally work between 6:00 am and 6:00 pm, with possible additional hours for meetings. Some travel may be required. Telework eligibility is determined by the Department and Caltrans policy.
