Overview
We are looking for an experienced Network Engineer (Level 2) to provide onsite support at our customers location in the United States. The successful candidate will possess extensive hands-on expertise with Cisco networking products and related technologies. The role requires the ability to effectively manage, troubleshoot, and optimize complex enterprise network environments. You will be responsible for supporting daily operations, implementing new networking solutions, and collaborating closely with stakeholders to maintain a network infrastructure that is secure, high-performing, and resilient. Base pay range: $75.00/yr - $80.00/yr Responsibilities
Deliver onsite Level 2 support for enterprise network infrastructure, ensuring optimal availability and performance. Install, configure, and troubleshoot Cisco routers, switches, and firewalls, maintaining network stability and reliability. Administer and support F5 load balancers to optimize traffic distribution and ensure application availability. Support and maintain Infoblox DNS, DHCP, and IP Address Management (IPAM) solutions. Deploy, monitor, and troubleshoot Cisco Meraki devices, including access points, switches, and firewalls. Conduct Wi-Fi heatmap analysis to optimize wireless coverage and performance throughout the environment. Perform rack and stack activities within the data center for various network devices. Assist with the implementation and maintenance of Network Access Control (NAC) solutions. Support and configure Web Application Firewalls (WAF) to protect critical web applications. Provide support for Zero Trust Architecture (ZTA) and Virtual Private Network (VPN) solutions. Engage in proactive network monitoring, capacity planning, and incident resolution to maintain service levels. Work collaboratively with Level 3 and architecture teams for escalations and advanced troubleshooting needs. Maintain accurate and up-to-date network documentation, diagrams, and operational runbooks. Qualifications
46 years of experience as a Network Engineer, with a minimum of 2 years in a Level 2 capacity. Comprehensive knowledge of Cisco networking technologies, including routing, switching, and firewall solutions. Practical experience working with F5 load balancers and Infoblox solutions. Experience deploying and supporting Meraki wireless and security products. Familiarity with Wi-Fi heatmap tools and related methodologies. Exposure to implementing Network Access Control (NAC) solutions, such as Cisco ISE or similar platforms. Understanding of Web Application Firewalls (WAF), Zero Trust Architecture (ZTA), and VPN technologies. Hands-on experience working in data center environments, including racking, cabling, and switch installation. Strong troubleshooting abilities and the capacity to work independently at the customer site. Excellent communication skills and proven ability to manage stakeholder relationships effectively. Preferred Skills
Cisco CCNP certification or an equivalent qualification is highly desirable. Experience applying security best practices within enterprise networking environments. Familiarity with ITIL processes, including incident, change, and problem management. Exposure to hybrid cloud network integrations, such as Azure or AWS, is an advantage. Seniority level
