What to Expect (Job Responsibilities)
Conduct health check assessments on projects to ensure alignment with business objectives
Lead the Health Check process with a multi-disciplinary team for major and core projects
Develop and track Corrective and/or Preventative Action items (CAPAs) to support project success
Prepare and present Health Check reports and findings to project leadership
Identify systemic issues and contribute to lessons learned across the Projects Organization
What is Required (Qualifications)
Engineering degree, equivalent technical education, or 10 years of experience in project management and construction
Minimum of 10 years of Project Manager experience in the pipeline industry
Strong communication and analytical skills with the ability to build relationships and resolve conflicts
Familiarity with industry codes, regulations, and standards in Canada and the US
Proficiency in MS Office Suite and Oracle software
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)
Professional Engineering (PE) designation
Familiarity with Root Cause Analysis techniques and software such as DNV SCAT or TAPROOT
Experience with capital project risk and quality management processes
Broad exposure to oil, gas, and power-related projects
PMP Certification
