$160,000.00/yr - $190,000.00/yr Director of Shared Services Our client is a newly public, rapidly growing hospitality company with a multi-national footprint. We are seeking a dynamic Director of Shared Services, to lead Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and Payroll Accounting functions. As a key member of the CAO’s leadership team, you will drive strategic initiatives, lead change management efforts, and play a pivotal role in finance system modernization. With a focus on innovation, scalability, and operational excellence, this organization is modernizing its financial infrastructure to support continued growth and deliver exceptional service. Responsibilities Strategic Leadership : Set the vision and roadmap for Shared Services in partnership with senior finance leadership. Team Management:
Lead and manage the shared services teams. Responsible for: Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable and Payroll Process Optimization : Drive continuous improvement in Procure-to-Pay and Invoice-to-Cash workflows. Technology Enablement : Serve as a key partner in finance system implementations and automation initiatives. Compliance & Controls : Ensure SOX compliance and strengthen internal controls in collaboration with audit and accounting teams. Performance Management:
Establish KPIs and reporting frameworks to monitor and improve service delivery. Stakeholder Engagement:
Act as a trusted advisor to internal business partners and executive leadership. Requirements CPA or MBA preferred Minimum of 10 years of progressive accounting experience 6+ years of management experience At least 6 years managing accounting teams in a growth-oriented environment Systems implementation experience as a plus Deep expertise in U.S. GAAP and SOX compliance Strong communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal Must be able to communicate and present ideas/issues to the executive finance team Comfortable in a fast-paced, evolving business environment
