Director, Athletic Compliance Financial Aid – University of Memphis Responsibilities

Oversee all aspects of NCAA financial aid and monitoring of NCAA Bylaw 15, including provision of Athletics Grant-in-Aid (GIA) awards to prospects and continuing student-athletes, tracking of financial aid awards, updating all financial aid information into Teamworks C&R, and coordinating renewals/non-renewals/increases/reductions/cancellations in collaboration with the campus financial aid office. Serve as liaison with the bursar’s office to track student-athlete financial aid refunds, account balances, authorized aid, holds, and drop dates. Act as Athletics Department contact for student account inquiries. Administer playing and practice season regulations and monitor NCAA Bylaw 17 for all sports. Provide NCAA/House settlement rules education to coaches and student-athletes in the areas of financial aid. Provide rules interpretations for coaches and staff, including researching questions regarding NCAA rules presented by coaching staff, athletic administrators, and personnel from other departments. Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree and four years of relevant experience; or Master’s degree and two years of relevant experience. Applicants must be authorized to work in the U.S. We are unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of an employment visa at this time. Work Details

Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:00 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.; some evenings and weekends; travel may be required.
