This is an on-site role in downtown Miami. We are seeking an experienced Senior Level Accountant to supervise, track, and evaluate day-to-day financial activities. This role will work closely with the Executive Management Team and play a key part in ensuring accurate financial reporting, compliance, and efficient operations.
Base pay range
$85,000.00/yr - $90,000.00/yr Responsibilities
Manage daily operations of the accounting department, including month-end and year-end close processes Accounts payable and receivable Payroll and benefits administration Calculate managerial bonus compensation, expense reimbursements, and commissions Perform revenue and expenditure variance analysis Prepare and review production reports Manage 1099 contracting processes Monitor and analyze accounting data, producing accurate financial reports and statements Enforce proper accounting methods, policies, and principles Coordinate and support annual audits Recommend and implement improvements to accounting systems and procedures Establish and maintain fiscal files and records to document transactions Support general office operations and some HR functions Qualifications
Strong communication and writing skills—ability to effectively interact with executives, management, employees, advisors, and clients Proficiency in QuickBooks Proven experience as a full-charge Bookkeeper or a senior level Accountant with accounting responsibilities Advanced computer skills in MS Office, accounting software, and databases Ability to manage large volumes of financial data Knowledge of bookkeeping and accounting principles, practices, standards, laws, and regulations High attention to detail and accuracy Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize effectively Preferred: BA/BS degree in Accounting or Finance Seniority level
