In pursuit of the mission of Johns Hopkins Medicine (JHM) and exemplifying the core values, the Human Resources Business Partner will: Execute Johns Hopkins people initiatives Provide excellent internal customer support Drive HR functional excellence and process improvement Establish and maintain effective relationships in support of JHM Operations Deliver key HR projects and objectives efficiently and effectively Partner with business unit leadership to support business and people growth objectives Proactively focus on retaining a high-performing, engaged workforce aligned with the JHH patient family culture Qualifications and Requirements

Requires advanced knowledge of Federal, State, and local laws and regulations, current and future trends in human resource management, HR and payroll processes, Joint Commission HR standards (career services, compensation, benefits, employee labor relations, equal employment opportunity and affirmative action, training and development, record keeping, and compliance) Comprehensive understanding of the dynamics of academic, research, and clinical activities in an academic medical institution is helpful Creative and resourceful in handling complex concerns Work Experience:

Five (5) years of progressively responsible human resources management experience, including employee relations, preferably in a University or Hospital setting Experience advising multiple levels of management on a range of people matters (e.g., employee engagement, retention, employee & labor relations, performance management, leave of absence, recruitment, etc.) Experience using a recognized HRIS System is strongly preferred Education:

Bachelor of Science required. Master’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred Required skills and experience:

Bilingual (English/Spanish) and/or experience in a unionized environment Salary Range: $37.04/hour - $61.16/hour; compensation commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility Company Values and Compliance
